    My absolutely favorite local bookstore. Relatively new to the area, the store, with its long store front, wide aisles and good lighting, is very amenable to browsers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The inventory becomes more and more eclectic as the months go by. Most notable, I suppose, because Qualicum Beach is home to many Brits, is an increasing number of books published in Britain and not otherwise easily found on Canadian bookstore shelves. The store seems also to gravitate towards becoming a meeting place for like-minded locals. What I like , too, is Bucknucks' policy of exchanging books for credit on new purchases.
