Plan to visit this museum when in Qualicum Beach! While small, it has a diverse range of very exciting history on display. From paleontology and fossils, to social history and culture ... step back in time. If you enjoy Royal memorabilia, you will find a nice collection to browse. Admission by donation - $5 a person is average. Please support the local artists in the gift shop - artists and museum need our support!

Great staff. Lots of fabulous local artifacts. Displays are really well done with a good mix of artifacts that are 'touchable' or behind glass.

Very well set up. Helpful, friendly staff. Entry is by donation, so please give generously to keep it going. One visit is enough for me though.

The museum is small and a bit disjointed. The main building's first floor is fossils (some local, some not, some casts). The second is cultural history - some information on First Nations, some on the British royal family, and some on Ukrainian settlers. A separate building housed technological items such as morse code generators, telephones, and radios. Still, it's obviously well-cared for and admission was by donation.
